They demonstrate critical thinking, construct knowledge, and develop innovative products and processes using technology. Everyone is held accountable! Students are able to use their creativity and innovation. This doesn't limit the work of one student while the other does everything. This is an awesome feature because two students can be working on the same presentation at once. Prezi is also like Google Presentations in a way because students can share presentations with one another and the teacher. It is saved in a cloud, so as long as she remembers her username and password, it is always available.

If a student creating her Prezi on a Mac, it would be possible for her to present it on a Windows computer. One thing I like about Prezi is that it can be accessed from any computer. There are many tutorials on the homepage to figure out how to create a Prezi. However, Prezi is much more visually pleasing in my opinion. Basically a student picks a template, and they use the different boxes to create their slides, much like Power Point. However, I'm not quite sure you can look at it if you do not have an account.
I provided the link to look at it more closely. This is a Prezi that two of my students created during our To Kill a Mockingbird introduction. Another option is EDUPro which has more features but costs $59/year. There are also limited templates and features, but I have never purchased a plan for my students, and they have always been able to create beautiful work. With this plan, one has 500 MB cloud storage. One must create an account, and after this is completed, the teacher and/or students have access to the basic Prezi plan which is free. This is a site for teachers and students only. Prezi is a new and fun way to make presentations that allow motion and zoom to really make ideas come to life.
